Kangxi Yongzheng Blue & White Silver-Mounted Lidded Jug 1680-1730, Mounts_Jacob-Helweg

The baluster jug with plain loop handle,

the body painted with a Chinese lady holding a fish, and a gentleman carrying two baskets,

in a fenced garden and below a blooming prunus,

the neckrim with trellis diapering and a engraved silver mount,

connecting with a silver hinge and fleur de lis thumb-rest to the silver-mounted

domed cover painted with further blooming prunus; knop finial;

the fleur de lis with remains of three initials

Kangxi Yongzheng Blue & White Silver-Mounted Lidded Jug 1680-1730, Mounts_Jacob-Helweg , silver malers mark

Marks : Jacob Helweg, 1814 .934 lion rampant & 1, and "antiques" sword

Condition : Ceramic and mounts, excellent;

one old surface crack to base of handle, shown in images
